We differ in two ways
1. All of our searches are custom. Unlike other referral firms which focus primarily on the experts in their registries, we look wide and far for the best-qualified experts.
2. We cost less. The big registries want a $5,000 retainer and add up to $100/hour to the referred expert’s billings. We request a $500 retainer (unless the expert requires more) and add 10% to the expert’s hourly rate.
Our custom search process follows these steps:
1. Listen. We begin by learning about your case and the expert you seek. We ask about the experience, education, and other qualifications you desire. We also screen for potential conflicts.
2. Search. Using your parameters, we begin an extensive search for candidates who will have a positive impact on your case.
3. Assess. We contact each candidate to assess qualifications, communication skills, availability, interest, conflicts, cost, and more.
4. Show. We present the qualified candidates to you. Up through this step, our work is free to you.
5. Connect. If one of our candidates appears suitable, we arrange and assist with an initial conversation between you and the candidate. If you retain the candidate, we then add our fee onto the expert's charges and invoice you.
