Harvey Brown served as judge of the 152nd District Court for six years and worked as a litigator for 14 years at Sewell & Riggs. He is board certified in personal injury law and currently practices law in Houston.

Mr. Brown has been an adjunct professor of Evidence and Trial Advocacy at the University of Houston School of Law. He is a member of the Texas Supreme Court Advisory Committee and the American Law Institute.

An active speaker and writer, Mr. Brown has published two award-winning articles in the Houston Law Review on expert witnesses. He is an honors graduate from the University of Texas Law School, where he was a member of the Texas Law Review and received the Order of the Coif.

Judge Ken Curry was elected Judge of the 153rd District Court (Tarrant County, Texas) in 1992 and continues to serve in that capacity. The 153rd District is a civil trial court concentrating in non-criminal and non-family cases. In the early 90’s, Judge Curry was assigned to litigation involving insurance fraud allegations arising from the psychiatric hospitalization of hundreds of minors in Tarrant County, Texas. Since 1995 Judge Curry has facilitated the asbestos trial docket for Tarrant County. In that capacity, Judge Curry presided over numerous asbestosis related disease trials.

Judge Curry has spoken before and sponsored numerous continuing legal education activities. Judge Curry is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Texas Bar Foundation, the College of the State Bar of Texas and the Tarrant County Bar Association. Judge Curry received a law degree from the University of Houston Law Center and an undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Arlington.
