N. Dean Hawkins is a
graduate with honors of the University of Oklahoma College of Business
Administration and the University of Oklahoma College of Law. Mr.
Hawkins holds a Master of Laws degree in Taxation from the New York
University School of Law.
Mr. Hawkins’ practice is a general tax practice,
including business and tax planning pertaining to corporations,
partnerships and limited liability companies, estate planning (including
wills, trusts and probate) and tax controversy and litigation. Mr.
Hawkins is a frequent lecturer in the
Dallas-Ft. Worth area on tax-related subjects,
including business and tax planning, estate planning and family limited
partnerships.
In the early part of his legal career, Mr. Hawkins
practiced with a Wall Street firm in Washington, D.C.,
under the tutelage of a former commissioner of the Internal Revenue
Service. Mr. Hawkins also practiced with a retired member of the United
States Tax Court.
