Amy Steele Donner has been a judge of the Circuit Court of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit in and for Miami-Dade County since being elected to the bench in the general election of 1984. She has served in the criminal, civil, and family divisions of the court, and on several occasions she has sat as an associate judge on the Fourth District Court of Appeals. Since taking the bench, Judge Donner has participated in numerous judicial, Florida Bar, and law school activities including chairing the Criminal Rules Committee of The Florida Bar, lecturing on family law for local bar associations, and teaching in the National Institute for Trial Advocacy (NITA) program at the University of Florida Frederic G. Levin College of Law. Judge Donner also serves on the Civil Procedure Rules Committee and the Family Law Rules Committee of The Florida Bar and is a member of the Drafting Committee of the American Judicature Society. Judge Donner received her undergraduate degree from the University of Miami, where she also was graduated from the School of Law and subsequently earned the degree of Master of Laws in Taxation. |

Robert D. Peltz is a partner in the law firm of McIntosh, Sawran, Peltz, Cartaya, and Petruccelli, P.A., which maintains offices in Miami, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, and Tampa. The main concentration of his practice relates to maritime, international, commercial, corporate, and complex personal injury litigation in the state and federal courts at the trial and appellate levels. Mr. Peltz, who is board-certified in civil trial practice by both the Florida Bar and the National Board of Trial Advocacy, is a past president of the Dade County Trial Lawyers Association and a charter member of the Miami chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates. In addition to holding proctor status with the Maritime Law Association, Mr. Peltz has held various positions with the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers, the Southeast Admiralty Law Institute, the Florida Bar, and other legal organizations. He has written numerous law review articles, has served on the voluntary adjunct faculty of the University of Miami School of Law, and has lectured extensively on a variety of topics at continuing legal education seminars throughout Florida. Mr. Peltz earned his undergraduate degree at Duke University and was graduated cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law, where he served as an editor of the law review. |

Linda Wells, a member of The Florida Bar for more than three decades, has focused mainly on commercial trial practice, including defense of insurance agents, property owners in eminent domain matters, breach of contract cases on behalf of corporate entities, and zoning and land-use cases. Ms. Wells served as Chairperson of Grievance Committee “E” for the 9th Circuit, Florida Bar Association. In addition, she has devoted significant time and effort to public service in the legal profession, including as a member of the Florida Bar Foundation Board of Directors, member of the Greater Orlando Area Legal Services Board of Directors, and member of various groups and committees dealing with the provision of legal services. Ms. Wells earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Florida, holds a master’s degree in political science from the University of Washington, and graduated with honors from the George Washington University Law School.
